Individual Instruction, for 8-week Block:
30 minute lessons: $200
45 minute lessons: $300
60 minute lessons: $400
Registration Details: The lessons are divided into six 8-week blocks throughout the year
Payment: Registration obligates the student to pay tuition as follows.
Tuition is payable in full upon registration, or one-half at registration with the balance due in full prior to the fourth week of the block. Personal check, money order, cash, VISA, MasterCard, and American Express are accepted. Upon receipt of payment, the student will be issued a gift card for the pre-paid value. At the end of each lesson, the card will be used as payment for the lesson.
Late Tuition Payment
Non-payment of tuition in full before the fourth week of the semester will result in late fees and suspension of lessons.
Withdrawal
Tuition refunds are made only within the first three weeks of the semester and must be requested in writing to The Folk Cellar. Communicating intent to withdraw only with faculty or staff members or simply not attending classes will not guarantee a refund or negate the student's obligation to pay for the entire block.
Missed Lessons
Regular attendance is expected. Students are charged for all lessons for which they register, including those missed through student absence. All missed lessons, teacher absences, or cancellations by the The Folk Cellar due to professional obligations, teacher illness, weather, or emergencies, will be made up. Rescheduled lessons are arranged between the student and his or her teacher, not through the office.
School Cancellation
The Folk Cellar does not follow the cancellation or vacation dates of any one school district; please be sure you check with The Folk Cellar for cancellations.
The Folk Cellar also offers a variety of workshops and group lessons. Check out "Events Page" and with the store for schedules. Also if you'd like us to offer a particular workshop or lesson, let us know and we will make every effort to offer it
